About the Role
To supply and transport food to restaurant/bar areas.
Transports food items from kitchen area to the restaurant/bar to ensure consistency, freshness for the guest.
Determines any problems with elevator service and team member shift changes that would impede set up.
Supplies equipment per request to authorized personnel.
Verbally communicates, in a calm, positive demeanor, with the kitchen, service, beverage, convention services, and engineering staff, as well as the guest host to ensure timely execution of events, quality service, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, local safety and health regulations and corporate standards.
Helps the busperson/servers clean area of restaurant.
Keeps floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents.
Maintains open line of communication between appropriate departments.
Other duties as assigned.
Prior hospitality experience preferred
Food Handlers Certification required
